2017 Audi "TTQ" Unofficial Render

When the TT offroad concept was revealed last year, it was met with mixed reviews. On one side were the strong supporters who have been waiting for a more versatile version of the iconic 2-door coupe, whereas opposition to the concept feared it would ruin the TT's unique body style and handling. Love it or hate it, Audi confirmed last November that there will be a third body style for the TT family in the form of a crossover.

Using the same technology as the TT Coupe and TT Roadster, it has been speculated that the "TTQ" (unofficial name) will also include an e-quattro system where a combustion engine will power the front wheels, and an electric motor will power the rear wheels. Powered by the aforementioned e-quattro system, the TTQ will output 408 HP and will allow for three different driving modes: front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Audi will most likely position the TTQ as a sporty crossover slotted just above the Q3.
